hunting rights of felons
Is a person that is a convicted felon legally able to hunt with a black powder muzzle loader rifle?

Many times you can get that felony purged from your record if you are done with probation. Also, you have to deal with the Department of Tobaco and Firearms and get it purged there. Its a two step process. Once in the court system, and once administratively. Short answer, it is possible, but a firearm is a firearm. Once you are clear for black power, you could hunt with any kind of firearm.
