Legal Question in Personal Injury in Idaho
Negligence for property damage
Helped a neighbor jump start already dead vehicle. 2 years later as we are moving out of town plaintiff states we burned the electrical in vehicle. Not aware of any problem until now. Vehicle was not running at the time, and offered to help, plaintiff accepted help, are we responsible for damages?

Re: Negligence for property damage
An umcompensated good Samaritan is not legally liable for damages under the circumstances you describe unless something grossly negligent was done.
I would not pay the damages under the facts you describe.
