Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Illinois

Wrongfully accused

I would like to get legal advise on an incident that happen on 3/27/04 in front of Lane Tech High School. There was a fight with two young girls, my daughter stipped the fight twice and the last time she pulled on of the girls off the other and walked her to the bus stop to make sure she got on the bus and was okay and then was given a ride home. My daughter has a lot of witness that have come forward and indicated that she broke up the fight and was not involved in the fight. However, the school has instructed those indiciduals to attend her expulsion hearing and to be a witness for her then. The young ladies that fought one of them had indicated that my daughter did nothing but stop the fight that she took total responsiblity for her actions the other, has also said the same thing and said she will clear my daughters name and has none nothing. My daughter along with two other girls were arrested and charged with Simple Battery and are waiting to get papers from the school for expulsion. I have contacted the region and the board on this and have given them my daughters story and have gotten no where, I want to get this removed from her record casue it is a faluse arrest and stop her expuslsion.

Sounds like a matter for which you need an attorney -- not something readily handled by yourself or through a simply question & answer session on the Internet.

Please feel free to contact my office for a consultation.
