Legal Question in Banking Law in Illinois
a bank lender contacted my employer to verify employment. My employer stated i was employed there but, only through June of this year. Is my employer allowed to give future employment info like that or are they only allowed to comment on current status?

Typically, when you apply for a loan, you sign an authorization requesting employers and creditors to provide all relevant information to the lender. I would take a look at this authorization. My guess is your employer did just what you asked him, her, or it to do.
