Thank you for your question. I am confident that I can help you resolve this matter. To be sure, your container has been shipped but you have not received a bill of lading. If the shipper and/or broker is a us-based company, your best bet would be to have an attorney serve a demand upon them to release and/or deliver the container. If there are letters of credit involved, you may also wish to have the bank stop payment. This is a somewhat complex matter and requires some additional explanation. Please feel free to email me for further, free, discussion. My email address is: [email protected]
Thia matter sounds rather involved, and we would certainly need more information to propely discuss it with you. However, it does sound, in part, like a breach of contract matter. Feel free to contact our office to discuss it at 773-684-5730.
