Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
I am a small business - IT consulting located in Chicago area. I recently worked on a short term contract for 5 weeks for a client through a contracting agency. I have time sheets approved by the client. But the contracting agency is not paying my invoices as agreed in the contract.
Please advise how can I get them paid. Amount of contract is about $15k.

Unfotunately, your best course of action may be a threat to sue followed by an actual lawsuit. Please email me with any further questions. [email protected]

You should hire counsel to send a letter on your behalf. If that does not work, you may have to file suit.
