Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois
Employment Review
I just had my review for work, which went well. But my manager mentioned that all of the district managers get in a room and discuss you and your performance. This is in front of all the other managers in the company. I understand that my manager and his higher ups were involved but it seems like a violation of my privacy that all the other people are allowed to be privy to that information. What do you think? Thanks.

Re: Employment Review
I think the managers of a company are free to discuss in good faith the work performance of their employees. Indeed, they may be viewed as not performing their job functions if they were lax in this area.
