Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois
My girlfriend was attacked at work by an employee. Even though she was not injured at work, it has bothered her for months at home. She has constant nighmares about the incident at work. The woman that attacked her took a plea in court and was found guilty for battery and recieved 4 months probation. Is there anything that can be done with a civil suit for mental anguish?
