Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois
Is this harassment?
I had a conversation w/ my ex's current girlfriend's husband
to whom he is legally separated from. I suggested he do
a background check on my ex (which he did). The husband
used the background info on my ex in a case for child custody(which went in his favor). My ex now tells me
his current girlfriend wants to sue/press harassment
charges against me for telling her husband to do a background check on her ex. Is this harassment? Do I
have any charges to worry about?

Re: Is this harassment?
You have nothing to worry about. The circumstances described on your post are clearly constitutionally-protected free speech. They have no case.
