Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois

My son has been bullied at school for approximately three years. He has irritable bowel as a result, I have lost over 40 pounds from stress, irritable bowel, and my son has wanted to hurt himself many times since this has all began. The bulliers call him gay, fag, gavis last name is davis. The bullying has come to our house as in vandalism. When this last school year began, a child started a facebook page called Ryne Davis Likesmen. This is my son, who by the way is not gay. I can explain how that started if you are interested. We copied the facebook page, obtained the email address of who started this, copied all of the friends who accepted the requests and turned it over to the local police. The police did obtain the subpeonas to facebook and yahoo and received the IP address of the child. I was told that I could not find out who the child was because he was a juvenile. The other parent requested a meeting with my husband and I and we went only to find out who the child was. The other parent was aware why we accepted the meeting request. The other parent knows we are pressing charges. My question is are we allowed on behalf of our son to civil suit the child who created this account and the children who did the friend requests? Can we sue for anything that would cover my son's health state and mine throughout all of this? Even that he was in counseling for months and we had to install cameras at our house? Is there anything we can do beyond pressing charges? Thank you for your time.
