Legal Question in Technology Law in Illinois
I wanted to find out how I could receive a full refund after scheduling a television repair service and receiving nothing but a run around. I spent a day waiting for my tv to be diagnosed, paid half the amount needed to go ahead and send the part off that needed to be fixed..to then receive the part a week and a half later and then get told my a new tech that the part appeared to have never been touched, but he went ahead and installed it anyway. Turns out he was correct because 15min after her left the tv went back to its broken state. The part was then sent back again, and this time a week later, we are told the part is no longer available! So I feel that Sears wasted our time and money by doing this, and I feel we deserve to be refunded not only the product fees but also the diagnostic fee of $109 for the repair man to just look at the tv. Am I wrong?

You problem sounds like negligence on their party to repair your TV. Go back to Sears and ask for a refund. If that does not prove to be satisfactory, then sue them in small claims court.
