Contractor messed up

Hi,

We recently had our kitchen and

bathroom remodeled by the same

company. The bathroom required

ripping out an old iron tub and

installing a shower. Everytime we

take a shower, water pools on the

floor just outside the bathroom.

The work was done 2.5 yrs ago. He

says he is no longer responsible. Is

this true?

Breach of contract lawsuits in most jurisdictions can be filed up to 6 years fom the completion of the job. The usual test is whether you knew or should have known of the defect.

I cannot comment further since I don't know all of the facts of the case.
