Legal Question in Construction Law in Illinois
I purchased my commercial build in March of 2003 and its in a unincorporated area, I had asked all my neighbors if they needed a permit to do there buildouts they all told me no . My buidout has been done since 2003 it there a limit of how far back the they could hold me to permits. I had done this buildout without any permits or inspections. Im also a contractor so I built everything to code. I have to call the Will county land use department enforcement inspector.
