Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
vehicle service contract
I recently purchased a 2001 used car on 3/31/03 that is still under original warranty and I purchased an extended warranty to cover the vehicle through 3 additional years. The paperwork has been signed but I was never given a service contract or shown what was covered. Can I get out of that part of the purchase agreement to not get the extended warranty?

Re: vehicle service contract
It is difficult to say without examining the agreement. The first place you should look is the agreement and what is required of the company issuing the extended warranty.
If you would like my firm to look at the agreement for you, then please call (312) 236-9906.
Good luck,

Doublecheck your paperwork - the paperwork on these issues is usually quite extensive.
