Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

Disputing a debt in court

I am being sued for $250 for labor on my bathroom. I have already paid $1300 for the work, which is what I feel I owe. I do not agree with the hours the company has charged me. They were not at my home performing the work for as long as they have charged me. I wrote a dispute letter and validation within the 30 days after receiving the letter, but the attorney has refused to send me anything. I go my first court appearance tomorrow, what should I do?
