I took out a loan for 900.00 dollars from cash net I defaulted on the loan. just started to make payments to I think a collections agency. she started calling my job and telling them I was in a civil suit filed againsts me I didn't know evevn who I was calling back . she said if I didn't except the terms they would sue me for 3 times the amount I owe and get it. she said they would automatically start garnishment on my paycheck without even going to court can they do that?

Generally, a plaintiff must have a judgment before garnishing wages; however, without reading what you signed the general rule may not apply. I can be reached at 312-372-5600 if you have additional questions.
Very unlikely. If this is a collection agency, it is likely they have violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Call a consumer law attorney first thing Monday.
