Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Arrest Warrant
Is there any way to find out if an arrest warrarnt has been issued. My situation is this. My boss accused me of taking about $3000. I was let go from my employment. Is there any way to find out if they are pressing charges and if they do what will happen. The company is in one county and I live in another. Can they come to my home and if so can they come anytime like on a weekend?

Re: Arrest Warrant
Hello. It is possible to find out if you have
been charged with theft. If a warrant is issued
for your arrest, you will want to know about it
right away. Also, you could be sued in civil
court. I suggests that you be pro-active and
get legal representation. If you are arrested,
let the arresting officer know that you wish
to remain silent and want to talk to a lawyer.
I hope my answer is helpful and will be happy
to answer any additional questions you may have.
