What would be considered extenuating circumstances surrounding the finding of guilt in a crim. sex. assault case??? There was a ''love'' relationship from both parties including love letters consenting to a sexual relationship.

Re: criminal sex assault
You must give me more detail of the evidence and the judge's findings. Was the girl under age? Did she claim that she told the defendant "no" before or during sex? To give you any kind of answer now, I would have to guess at the facts, and the court's findings.
