Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
I have a felony conviction and a misdemeanor and I wanted to know if its possible to have my records sealed. I have been looking for a job and I know having the conviction has been holding me back from being hired. I'm in the process of receiving my Bachelor's Degree and I'm trying to progress with my life.

You need to go to the courthouse(s) where you were charged and get the "disposition" from the clerk.
That is your starting point to see what indeed you were convicted of and if you are eligible.
