Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
I'm currently fighting a felony charge and have not been convicted. But the felony is already on my background and has stopped me from getting several jobs. Should the charge be popping up on my background without a conviction? ??

The fact that you are charged with a felony is public information and available from the clerk of the court.

I agree with the previous post and add that even though you have not been convicted, you have been arrested and the information concerning your arrest is true and accurate.
