fishing w/o license
i got cuaght fishing w/ o a license the officer issued me a citation, but i gave him an alias ,but i still will show up in court. is there any penalty for doing such a thing

Do you think there is no penalty for lying to an officer? The answer to your question should be obvious - yes, there is a penalty for doing "such a thing". You could be charged with a felony for obstruction of justice. You have turned a non-event (fishing without a license) into a potentially life altering event (being charged with a felony).
I would recommend mailing in the fine without a court appearance, if that is an option.
