Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

Geo Limits on Cook County Arrest Warrants and Info Warrants

I am about to be charged with a Class B Misdemeanor in Cook County. The case will be in the Skokie Court House. The Detective that contacted me said the bond will be a $1000 D Bond which means that I have to post $100 to bond out. I live in a part of Aurora that is in Kendall County. I know the Judge can issue an arrest warrant that's good only in Cook County and I also know that the Judge can issue an arrest warrant that's good in the whole state of Illinois. I was wondering what are the typical geographical limits on arrest warrants that are issued in Cook County for Class B Misdemeanors? Do judges set geographical limits on a case by case basis?

Thanks

Re: Geo Limits on Cook County Arrest Warrants and Info Warrants

I have never heard of arrest warrants being limited by geography. An arrest warrant will be issued for the entire state.
