Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Home Repair Fraud
Someone I know has been charged with 8 counts of Home Repair Fraud. As far as i know, they are all considered Class 4 felonies except one. It was upgraded to Class 2 because it involved an elderly woman. He was also charged with theft, which was classified Class 2.It was in 3 different Illinois counties. Can he get prison time for this? Thank you

Yes, your friend could get prison time. He must hire an attorney. Please call for an appointment.
Re: Home Repair Fraud
Hello. Your friend is charged with some very
serious offenses. Yes, he can get prison time
for this and he needs representation. Hopefully
he will not talk to the authorities without an
attorney. I cannot over stress the importance
of your friend getting an attorney now, if he
does not already have one. I hope my answer
is helpful. Will be happy to answer any additional questions that you may have.
