Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

Privacy and Internet

I am in the military and member of any online community. On this online community I have protected quite a bit of my personal information. However there is a picture of myself in my uniform and a person, if so inclined could make out the last name on the uniform, giving that and that it shows the city where I live, but not where I work, not my first name, not my unit number. If a person was to go out and, by what ever means, find a portion or the rest of my personnel information, assuming all sources of my personnel information are protected, would that be a instance of privacy violation on part of the other individual and is there a case of stalking and/or harassment if they have shown malicious and the desire to ''Show up at my work'' and ''expose me to my boss'', especially when I have done nothing illegal and this all stems from a heated disagreement.

Re: Privacy and Internet

Hello. You have a right to privacy. If this person were to show up at your work, you should file a police report. Don't take any chances is my

recommendation. Will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail.
