Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Sexual assault or harassment?
Have a friend who is being victimized. An habitual bawdy sense of humor has, in the recent past, rapidly escalated into unwanted advances up to, and including, groping of breasts and buttocks. Some of this victimization has occurred while in the workplace, however the perpetrator is not a coworker. Is this assault or harassment?

This is criminal sexual abuse. Under certain circumstances it could be a felony. Tell your friend to call the police.
