Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
my wife had a fight with my sister, they are going to court this friday, will any of them be jailed?
on July 9, i went to the court with my wife, but the sister didn't show up since she didn't receive anything from the court

i talked to my wife, but she doesn't want to drop it; my sister said if both of them go to court, she will counter sue my wife
what can i do before this friday?
if they both go to court, what will happen
they just scratch and push each other, no big deals

You have bigger problems than the court case. Your sister and wife are charging each other criminally? This sounds like a petty matters and should never come before a court. It sounds to me like you all need some counseling to hold your family together and avoid this mess ruining your relationship with your sister. Tell both of these women that they need to grow up.
