Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Wife in jail
my wife is on parole from a burglary conviction. She is in cook county jail for theft. She bought a camcorder and then tried to pawn it. She found out the camcorder was stolen. What do you think is the worse outcome that can happen? They did not violate her. She does have a bond.

Re: Wife in jail
The State has to prove she knew it was stolen. If the facts that you told me are correct, she has a chance to win at trial. Please call so we may discuss this more.
