Legal Question in DUI Law in Illinois

DUI in IL

Though done with court supervision, i was arrested for a DUI in Peoria, IL in May 2006. I was just ticketed for a DUI in Vandalia, IL in November 2007. I have court December 17, 2007. I work at an addictions program, had been sober over a year, and just slipped up. I still work for the addictions program and am being treated for my slip. What are my likely penalties? I have no money for a lawyer.

Re: DUI in IL

Find the money for a lawyer. The likely penalty at a minimum would be a conviction, which will result in license revocation. If I'm reading this correctly, this is your 3rd DUI. You could possibly be charged with a felony.

Re: DUI in IL

You are no longer eligible for supervision.

You are eligible for jail time. You could also lose your license for a significant amount of time. You really need to get a lawyer
