I have a loved one who was on parole for a felony DUI,. was arrested on a domestic charge that was dropped and is going before the parole board on Jan 20th to determine whether or not he will be violated. Does he need to produce any information to the parole board especially because the charges were dropoed.He will be incarcerated for almost 2 months prior to the parole board hearing. We have no money to hire a lawyer but would like to be prepared with whatever documentation may be needed. Please help me. Thank you.

It would be wise of your loved one to get a certified copy of the disposition of his domestic case. He can get a certified copy from the clerk's office at 555 W Harrision in Chicago for $10. This will be the most important document he can produce to the parole board to show the case was dismissed.
