Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
I have a 12 year old daughter who's father has appeared and requested visitation after a raise in support payments. After lying to states attorney he hired a lawyer and has been trying to run this whole thing. My child wants no part of this after 12 years and feels I am turning my back on her after agreeing in mediation to set up a meeting with him. After agreeing he went to court and told his lawyer that his wife didn't agree to our agreement so his lawyer is trying to scare me into agreeing with whatever he wants. It is stated in court papers he is to text me on Sunday to let me know his free times to set up this meeting and he never followed the order instead he insists on doing it while I'm at work in the middle of the week. What can I do to protect my daughter from mental and emotional abuse from all this since he is a bully and has never been around

You need to hire an attorney to represent you in court on the matter of visitation.
