child removal from home

My brother and new wife just had a baby .She has an open case with Luthern Social Services he does not .They took the baby and said it was because they live on the 2 floor apartment and has a DUI frpom 5 years ago . He is willing to leave her in order to keep the baby .And if he can't keep the baby what can family do to keep the baby. and is it leagl what they did.

When you say "they took the baby", who is they? If it is DCFS, then you need to move fast. I do not have enough information to give you any more advice than that. I would say you need an attorney and you need to fight this right away.
