My dads sister claimed my dads life insurance policy as next of kin. My claim was denied by the insurance company because i was not on the obit. Now what

If dad named a beneficiary, that person gets the policy. If dad died and no beneficiary survived, the policy may provide that his estate gets the money. The obit is not a legal document. The issues is who are Dad's heirs if he had no will, or who are his legatees if he had a will. Is Dad on your birth certificate? If not, you'd have to be able to prove that he was your dad. DNA or something else can be done, but must be done quickly.
