Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My divorce decrees says that I have to get permission from the court to leave the state with my children to relocate. Do I have to get permission from the father? We have joint custody with me being awarded residential custody.

Just the court. If the father doesn't agree, then you will have to have a hearing on the issue. If he does agree, then you can just enter an agreed order with the court.
