Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I am trying to find out how i can get my boyfriend legal guardianship of my daughter. my daughters birth father hasnt had contact with her since she was 5 days old and hasnt even tried to see her since then. my boyfriend has been there since before she was born and he is her father.. her birthfather is just a birthfather.
