Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My husband wants a divorce but doesn't want to pay for it and I will not pay for it. If we separate into different households without divorcing am I legally able to get childsupport? Alimony/maintenance?

You might be able to get child support. If does not agree to pay it, you will have to file suit, so you might as well file for divorce since you are going to be at the courthouse and paying filing fees anyway.
