Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

what are my options ?, I pay $600 per month in child support, average price for a 1 bedroom apartment where I live is $550-$600 and after CS is taken out I have maybe $400 in take home pay to say nothing about utilities and I was informed that I am not eligible for welfare as " I make too much" I tried to get a modification but the order is from another state and Illinois courts refused to hear the matter

You have to ask for relief from the state that ordered you to pay child support.
