Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

my parents have had my brother since he was 6 weeks old and the grandmother has legal custody and now she wants to take him away and move 7 hrs away. is there anyway to stop her from taking him?

Your question doesn't really make any sense. May I suggest that you reconsider what you are asking or better yet, have your parents make an inquiry. As it stands without more information, the person with legal custody can do what she wants with the child but I suspect that there is considerably more information needed to give a good answer to your question.
