Legal Question in Medical Leave in Illinois
My doctors office has messed up my fmla paper work twice now but now my doctor is refusing to change it to the right information. I had to take off work for a medical reason and it was on a Sunday so I couldn't go to my doctors office so I called and made the soonest appointment I could. The soonest appointment I could get was two weeks later. I talk to my doctor and she told me she would back date my paperwork but now she refuses. Is there any legal actions that can be taken?

Since not having your FMLA cert completed in a way to support leave, your job could be in jeopardy. Consider contacting a qualified FMLA attorney to work with the doctor to get the certification completed accurately.
