Job termination while on FMLA

can I collect unemployment while on FMLA?

Almost assuredly not. In order to collect unemployment you have to be available for work. If you qualify for FMLA you are unable to work, at least at your job.

I have not researched the issue directly, so call employment security,� but I bet you get the same answer.
