FMLA does not provide for leave to care for a sibling. However,, if you are caring ofr a sick sibling and you suffer clinical depression, requiring treatment for your own serious medical condition, you might qualify for time off under the FMLA. Another consideration is that if you are your sibling's next of kin and your sibling is a member of the military, there might be protection. You should also look at your company's leave policies to determine if you could take leave under a specific program offered by the employer.
