Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois
do we have to give legal notice to our adult son to move out of our home or can we just tell him to leave. He is under the impression we have to give him 60 days notice.

If there is no written lease, you have to give him a 30 days notice. If he does not move out then, you have to file an eviction lawsuit to get him out.
