judgements and their meaning
In a civil case when the defendent can not be found, and does not show up for any depositions and court procedings and a judgement is granted in favor of the plaintiff.
What does that judgement mean to the defendent when the defendent is on disability and has no ability to pay any awarded damages what so ever?

Hello. That's a very good
question. In that situation
the judgment cannot be
enforced. However, the
plaintiff may issue what
is called a citation to
discover and recover assets.
This is a proceeding where
the plaintiff tries to find
assets of the defendant.
However, if the defendant
has no assets, the plaintiff
cannot collect on the
judgment. Thank you for
