Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois
Revocation of probation
I was currently release from probation. Two weeks before my probation ended the Secret Service enter my home with a warrant to search for counterfiet material. I have not been charged with a crime, but yet they are trying to revoke my parole. Please contact me regarding this matter.

Re: Revocation of probation
Hello. This is a very serious matter.
My advice at this time is to tell any
secret service agent who questions you
that you desire to remain silent and
that you desire the assistance and
advice of an attorney. In my opinion,
your probation will not be in jeopardy
unless you are formally charged with an offense. The jurisdiction of the
Office of the Secret Service seems to
have been expanded. I am aware of
that office investigating mortgage
fraud. Again, I suggests that you
remain silent if questioned. I hope
my advice has been helpful.
