Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

My VP and well paid husband used my identity to open a credit card in 2000. I was left unused for 7 years when he decided to make himself an Authorized Buyer and was granted another account number, which was linked to the primary account. I had no idea until I went to file for divorce 2 years later in 2009. He always paid the bill until I canceled the cards and called FRAUD. I paid the last one. I am angry that CHASE was negligent in allowing this to happen. Can I sue? There was also forgery done on my name from a WELLS FARGO MORTGAGE in 2006 for a $149k cash out refinance and other hefty checks. Chase will not do anything to prosecute OR even give me a letter so I can go to the police. Can I sue?

When I filed for divorce in 2009, the EX opened also opened up at bank account in my name when I received a letter from Wells Fargo Bank that gave me instructions on how to use my new pin #, I called FRAUD. I have spent money on 2 subpoenas and have been unsuccessful in getting the bank to give me the IP address of the computer that opened up the account. I found out that WELLS FARGO MORTGAGE allowed my EX to open up a FRAUD second mortgage in 2002. The EX copied and pasted my signature on one page of this lengthy document and it passed thru. The EX listed my birthday as New Years Eve so I couldn't authenticate myself and readily get this information. Unbeknown to me he took this $100k and my hard earned income paid this mortgage back. Can I sue WELLS FARGO? What I ultimately want to do is to have this CREEP held accountable for all these crimes by the authorities. If I sue these companies perhaps they will go after him. They are NOT out any money, but I am. The police do NOTHING.
