Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois
I came to the U.S when i was 12 on a visa waiver, and have stayed ever since I'm 21 years old now married to a U.S citizen, I have all the papers filled out for the USCIS
Adjustment of status thru marriage to u.s citizen.
but have heard that there have been recent denials with the visa waiver overstays, Im not sure if i should proceed with this sent it out and go for it.or if i should hold on for now.
Has anyone had recent cases like these that have been succesful?

I suggest you consult a good immigration lawyer before filing or even hire an attorney to submit applications on your behalf. Yes, there have been denials. There is no appeal for a VW applicant. At the same time, under certain circumstances, a person who entered on a Visa Waiver can be approved for adjustment of status.
As to waiting for "better times", it looks like we are not going to see Immigration Reform in the next few years.
