Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois
My employer filed H1B petition [non profit] under premium processing, In dec 3, 09 but I [and my employer] have not yet received the receipt number, is it a matter of concern? When I may expect a notice from USCIS?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Yes, that could be a matter for concern. Premium processing itself takes 10-15 business days from start to finish (unless there is a RFE). The notice is usually mailed to you the next week after filing. Also, the USCIS usually emails your lawyer or employer.
