Aproximately two weeks ago, I was involved in a car accident that was not my fault. A young man turned left through a red light. I was headed through the intersection on a green light. There are two witnesses in the detailed police report, and I am not sure how to go about this. Many things his insurance company is telling me I have to do I simply do not believe. Depending upon your injuries and the extent of your losses it might be best to hire an attorney to represent you. Many times an experienced attorney will obtain more compensation for the client even after the attorney's fees are deducted than the client would have obtained on his or her own. In other cases, where the injuries are not serious and the losses are modest, most individuals can negotiate their own settlement and wind up with more money than if they had hired counsel. I believe that you need at least some advice, and I would be happy to help you if I can. I practice mainly in Missouri and Illinois. You may call me for a free telephone consultation at 314-727-2822.
