Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Illinois
Can multiple inventions be filed in one U.S. provisional patent application and later on after one year, each invention is separated when it is converted to a U.S. non-provisional patent application? Thank you.

This is an acceptable way to act.One would claim priority based on the provisional. You must make sure that the provisional contains enough disclosure for it to cover each and every utility patent that you would file in the subsequent year.
