Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

my boss has been hard to work with all along, but since the boston bombings, ive heard under the breath remarks about stupid f@ing americans, and claims that the gov't controls the media,etc...i looked to see if it qualified as harassment which i think it does, but i do not believe even if you count the employee he pays under the table to fraud SSi, or the illegal alien, he has 15 employees. do i have any recourse?

I assume from what you have written that your boss is not American? It seems from the information you provided that you are alleging a national origin discrimination case. First, there must be more than an isolated comment or two about Americans. Second, you are correct that depending on where the workplace is,located, the minimum employee threshold must be met. In addition to looking at state and federal law, you will want to see if any local laws (county or city) might also apply.
