Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
Can a company force an employee to use PTO and charge them a missed day at the same time. When after so many missed days you can be terminated. Also, are you required to use PTO as opposed to just taking the missed day of work?

The law does not require your employer to give you PTO so your employer can set rules for its use and how to classify days off.
